Free Delivery over £25
With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

Brand:Frog Bikes
Code:tadpole1
The perfect lightweight balance bike to get young children started on two wheels. Suitable for riders aged 2-3 years with a minimum inside leg of 31cm.
• Lightweight but sturdy frame • Soft handlebar grips • Easy to grip Tektro rear brake with adjustable lever for smaller hands. The brake is mounted above the rear stay to keep it away from the rider's feet. • 12" wheels • Quick release seat-post for easy height adjustment • The locking headset means the handlebars have a steering limiter, which is safer for learners • Available in Red, Orange, Purple, Spotty, Pink, Union Jack, Green, and Team Sky
Reflectors and a bell are included. Free 5 year warranty available on the frame and forks, 2 years on all other parts.
In contrast to many kids' bikes, Frog bikes are sized by the leg length rather than age, as this is the most reliable way of getting the right size of bike for each child. Age alone isn’t a reliable measure as there is a large spread of “normal” leg lengths & heights for each age.
Please take the time to measure the rider’s inside leg. It’s easy to measure:
Once you have measured the inside leg, use this table to find the right size of bike for your child. Note we give the MINIMUM inside leg length for each bike, with the saddle at its lowest setting. At this height, the child will safely and comfortably be able to get their feet on the ground. Don’t worry - Frog Bikes have long seat posts, so the saddle can be raised a long way as the rider grows. We recommend that you go to a local store who will have many of our bikes available so the rider can sit on a bike. You will get help and advice on sizing, and get on-going service, as well as support. PLEASE NOTE we always recommend that you buy your Frog bike from your local stockist, who will build it for you and ensure the fit is right for your child. Our bikes should always be built and checked by a qualified mechanic.
Of course all children have different length arms and torsos too, so to ensure a comfortable riding position, the handlebar height can be tailored, and saddles can be slid backwards and forwards on their rails. (These adjustments are easy to do and just need an allen key; instructions are in the manual).
